Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lead4u LLC ("LEAD4U", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with our websites, marketing services, and communications services (SMS/MMS, voice, and email). It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Messaging & SMS Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and other contact details when you voluntarily provide them through our forms or communications.
- Communications Data: When you (or our clients' customers) opt in to messaging, we and our service providers process mobile numbers, message content, delivery status, opt-in records, and opt-out (STOP) records; for voice, call metadata and, where applicable and disclosed, call recordings.
- Usage Information: Pages visited, time spent, and navigation patterns on our website.
- Technical Information: IP address, browser type, device information, and similar data automatically collected when you visit our website.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer and partner support
- To deliver our marketing services and our communications services (reminders, confirmations, status updates, review requests, follow-ups, and replies)
- To send communications you have consented to receive, and to honor opt-outs
- To register and operate messaging campaigns (e.g., A2P 10DLC) and meet carrier and registry requirements
- To monitor delivery, opt-out, and complaint rates, and to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and spam
- To improve our website and services
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
3. Communications & SMS
When you give us your phone number — for example, when you book an appointment, submit a form, or opt in to updates — we use it to contact you about that request or program by call or text, consistent with your consent and our Messaging & SMS Policy. We do not sell or rent your phone number, and we do not share your opt-in or consent information with third parties for their own marketing. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. We retain consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to operate the program and meet legal obligations, and then delete them. Our messaging is delivered through a registered A2P provider acting as our service provider.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share it only:
- With your consent
- With service providers and sub-processors who help us operate (see Section 7), under contracts that restrict their use of the data
- With carriers, messaging registries, and similar parties as required to deliver and register communications
- When required by law or to protect rights, safety, our network, or the public, and to respond to lawful requests
- In connection with a business transfer or merger (with notice where required)
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures — HTTPS/TLS in transit, access controls, rate-limiting and bot protection on our forms, and regular backups — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here: contact-form submissions and inquiry records are typically retained for up to 24 months after last contact; consent and opt-out records are retained for as long as needed to operate the program and to meet legal obligations; call recordings, where made, are retained for a limited period and then deleted. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, or sooner on a valid request.
7. Service Providers / Sub-processors
We use the following categories of providers to operate our website and services:
- Email delivery: Resend (transactional email)
- Analytics: Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity (consent-gated)
- Hosting / infrastructure: our hosting provider
- Messaging / telephony: our registered A2P SMS and voice provider(s) (engaged as we onboard messaging)
- Live chat / scheduling: where enabled
A current list and a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) are available to clients on request at privacy@lead4u.co.
